VERDE RIVER GUIDED KAYAKING ADVENTURE with  Sedona Adventures Outfitters and Guides

Kayaking the Verde River, under the instruction of a guide is a rewarding way to experience this beautiful Arizona wilderness waterway. Knowledgeable guides at Sedona Adventures Outfitters and Guides will lead you down the river, pointing out historical landmarks as well as sharing legends of the Native American cultures, Spanish Conquistadors, and the Pioneer Cowboys.

From their Boathouse in West Sedona you will travel to Clear Creek Landing where your guide will give kayaking instruction and will help you get into your kayak. The Verde River Kayak "Float" Trip will be approximately three to four hours or about five miles from put-in to take-out. About half way through the trip, your guide will dock all the kayaks at a historical marker where you will enjoy a picnic lunch. From here, your tour will continue down the twisting waterways and small drops with slow-current pools to float down, offering great photo opportunities or fun-filled water cannon fights. Your kayak trip on the Verde River will end at Beasley Flats where we will shuttle you back to the Boathouse. From start to finish, this tour is approximately 6 hours.
